Capi, named after the mushroom in Mario Brother's game, is a sweet natured, playful fellow. 🐶 He is a curious and busy puppy. He is a traditional black and tan color, has a beautiful "feathery" tail and loves to play fetch, but not always give it up. Lol🧸Capi is kennel trained and will sleep through the night in the kennel if you like. He likes his blanket with him and will drink water from a bowl or a drip bottle.
Capi is potty trained to go outdoors, but he would probably still use a potty pad, if needed.🚪He will also use a doggy door with the flap off.
Capi is about 11-12#. I would have to weigh him to know exact, but that's pretty close. He has had baby grooms and 1 full groom not long ago.
If you require delivery, I do know a couple lap nannies that I trust. Of course, they have their fee for the service and the price will vary, depending on the travel time and miles. 🚗 ✈️
All his adult teeth are in, so that's nice too.
Please message with a pickup availability day in mind in Yelm, Washington or if you live far away, and I'll message you back. If you include your phone number, I'll call you. I had to remove my number from here for a while because of too many scam calls I was getting. I want to see a message first now. ☺️ Thank you!

About
Yorkshire Terrier
Puppies
How would you describe a Yorkshire Terrier?
The little Yorkshire Terrier thinks they're Great Danes, and like most terriers, are bold, brave, and independent. They are very intelligent and develop deep bonds with their owners. Full-grown, they typically weigh 4-7 pounds and stand 8-9 inches tall.
Do Yorkshire Terriers do well in a busy household?
Yorkshire Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How do I keep a Yorkshire Terrier physically active?
The Yorkshire Terrier can have most of their exercise needs met through indoor play, but they prefer a daily walk or romp in a fenced-in yard. They don't need much exercise, so don't wear your Yorkie out too much, but they will need to play with their families throughout the day. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Do Yorkshire Terriers shed a lot?
Yorkies' coats can be a bit high maintenance, especially for those with the long, silky coat. Long coats require professional maintenance, including adding oil and wrapping the coats in rice or tissue paper, along with weekly washings. The Yorkshire Terrier has no undercoat, and they do shed a small amount. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Yorkshire Terriers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Can a Yorkshire Terrier live in an apartment?
Yorkshire Terriers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
