Epson is a hybrid combination of 3/4 Chihuahua and 1/4 Pekingese. He is the smallest in the litter, born under the printer table in a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon. They were named, in birth order, Inkblot, Page and Epson. He passed his first vet exam with flying colors. His parents, Bug and Carnegie, have created a beautiful litter of striking puppies. Epson, with a solid light gray coat and striking darker gray with white mask is sure to mature into a gorgeous dog. He will be shorthaired like Mama, Bug who is a 4 lb black and tan, strong and hardy PekiChi with a shiny coat. The father, Carnegie is a 3 lb gorgeous long-haired Chihuahua. The hair on his back has a beautiful copper and white undercoat with black overlay. He has a large white bib on his chest that emphasizes a face framed by long hair on his ears. His face mask is striking with enough white to make the black stand out. The printer litter will be ready to go at 8 weeks. They will be UTD on shots, worming and vet checked with paperwork. All my dogs get some air and freeze dried food, home-cooked meals and purified water. No chlorine, biofilms on water bowls or contaminants for my babies! At 6 weeks, when I wean them, I will add food grade DE (Diatomaceous Earth) to their moistened Purina Healthy Puppy Plus with added nutrients for brain and vision. Here is a link to information on DE https://www.earthworkshealth.com/post/is-diatomaceous-earth-safe-for-puppies-and-kittens Mama has been on a nursing diet of organic whole milk yogurt with some home-cooked meals of fresh meat or salmon, calves liver or venison with basmati rice, vegetables and dog friendly herbs. I am studying 13 dog cookbooks I ordered on Ebay to help create balanced nutritious meals. Holistic and organic myself, I spoil my ”kids” with every advantage money can buy. Consider it my gift to you! The quality of dogs in the US have been going down each decade, and I am doing my best to turn this around. I deserve my many five star ratings as I work hard and spend a lot to improve the quality of my dogs. The puppy you receive has every advantage. Your guarantee, in writing, gives lifetime support of the dog, benefiting by my hours of research and reading, and if you need to rehome them in the future my door is always open. Your peace of mind is knowing any puppy can be returned for full money back or another puppy if I’m notified within three days. This economy means breeders are having a tough time staying in business. Gain comfort in knowing my second job is being self-employed at home, which allows me full-time with my dogs. No corners are cut. Cheaper food is never implemented. No matter how bad the economy gets or how low puppy sales go, my passion to breed amazing dogs will never end. I waited 45 years to do this in my retirement. The idea of combining two breeds came to me in 1980, and now finding amazing combinations and making them healthy is my goal. Puppies will be ready to go at eight to ten weeks. Calls only. Message once at the site, then copy and paste these questions with your answers in a text with a day & time for us to schedule a video call. Frequently Asked Questions
About Chihuahua Puppies

What makes Chihuahuas special?
These pint sized pooches aren’t short on smarts! While they make lovable and devoted lapdogs, Chihuahuas possess a ninja-like agility, graceful demeanor, and bravery that sometimes gets them into trouble. Full-grown, they typically weigh 2-6 pounds and stand 5-8 inches tall.
Can Chihuahuas live with cats and other dogs?
Chihuahuas are generally not the best fit for families with young kids. Chihuahuas can usually live with other dogs and cats without problem. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Are Chihuahuas high-energy dogs?
Chihuahuas can usually get all the exercise they need by running around indoors. If the dog becomes a little chubby, put on the Tai Bo DVD and get down! Actually, these dogs should be allowed to walk everywhere until the desired weight is reached. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What should I expect with Chihuahua shedding?
Chihuahuas can have a long or short coat and come in a wide variety of colors, including sand, chocolate, silver, chestnut, and even blue. A plethora of patterns including sable and masks are also a possibility. It’s this very variety of possibilities makes classification so difficult. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Chihuahuas a good fit for apartment living?
Chihuahuas are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.
Pekingese

Frequently Asked Questions
About Pekingese Puppies

What kind of dog is a Pekingese?
The loyal and lovable Pekingese are also known for their independent nature and sometimes stubborn attitude. Proper training and discipline are essential for this regal looking pup, but be sure to expect a life of having a wonderful and loving family companion by your side as well. Full-grown, they typically weigh 7-14 pounds and stand 6-9 inches tall.
Can Pekingeses live with cats and other dogs?
Pekingeses are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Although they tend to snore, these loyal lovelies make great bedfellows and are ideal for apartment dwellers without young children. They are wary of strangers and will bark when seeing someone new, making them good watch dogs. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
How much exercise does a Pekingese need?
These dogs enjoy a leisurely walk outdoors but are equally happy to romp around inside. Pekingese pups love their daily walks but won’t do well outdoors when the weather heats up. A good run around the house will be all they need to stay in tip top form. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
Are Pekingeses high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The long flowing coat of the Pekingese is regal and quite lovely, but it will mat unless combed at least weekly, although preferably more often. Be careful that the over-nose wrinkle is cleaned daily to avoid infection, and be sure to inspect their um, rear area after bathroom breaks to make sure nothing sticks... if you catch our drift. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
Are Pekingeses easy to train?
Pekingeses are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Although they tend to snore, these loyal lovelies make great bedfellows and are ideal for apartment dwellers without young children. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.
