Petey is a playful little sweetie with lots of terrier personality. He will make a wonderful addition to your family. Petey's puppy papers are through AKC. His dad, Indiana Jones, has lots of champions in his family tree so Petey should be a dandy. He has been checked by our vet. and is terrific and will be up to date on all his appropriate puppy vaccinations. He will come with a harness and leash, puppy food, toys, and misc. Shipping may be available with American in the US--I would just need to check--for around $450. I have lots of videos and pictures of him if you would like to see them. Frequently Asked Questions
About Wire Fox Terrier Puppies

What's the personality of a Wire Fox Terrier?
Wire Fox Terriers were once used as rodent-hunters, but quickly moved into the hearts of families. They’re always ready for your attention, affection, or any ball you’ll throw their way. They have watchdog characteristics but are a friendly bunch. Wire Fox Terriers are very adaptable and make energetic playmates for kids and families! Full-grown, they typically weigh 15-18 pounds and stand 13-16 inches tall.
Are Wire Fox Terriers friendly with strangers and kids?
Wire Fox Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. They could be a hunter’s companion, but they are much more of a family pet these days. Well-socialized Wire Fox Terriers are friendly with other dogs and are happy to play with little ones in the backyard. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Wire Fox Terriers couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Wire Fox Terriers love pretty much any activity and are always up for learning new tricks. They’re athletic and can jump high in the air, which makes them ace competitors in Frisbee and agility. Wire Fox Terriers also love fetching a ball out of water and taking long walks with their family. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
How much grooming does a Wire Fox Terrier need?
Wire Fox Terriers have a dense, wiry coat and feature a distinctive wiry beard. They are light shedders and should be brushed every few days. It’s also recommended to take them to the professional groomers for “plucking,” which removes tufts of dead hair from their coat. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate. Wire Fox Terriers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
How much space does a Wire Fox Terrier need?
Wire Fox Terriers are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. See Full Guide Here

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
