Located in Barnum, Minnesota, our puppies are raised right alongside our family on our 80-acre property with our five children. From the very beginning, they are surrounded by people, activity, affection, and the everyday sights and sounds of family life. They are not simply puppies we raise—they truly become an extension of our family during the time they are with us.
We put a tremendous amount of love, time, and care into each puppy, which is why finding the right home is so important to us. Our goal is not simply to find buyers, but to find loving, committed families who are prepared to welcome one of our puppies as a lifelong member of their family. We want the transition from our home to yours to be a happy and successful one for both the puppy and their new family.
The health of our puppies is extremely important to us. Both parents have undergone genetic testing to help reduce the risk of inherited health conditions and to provide future families with greater peace of mind. Before leaving our care, each puppy will receive their first veterinary examination, first round of age-appropriate vaccinations, and three rounds of deworming. Each puppy will also go home with a health contract outlining our commitment to the health of the puppy as well as the responsibilities of their new family.
Our puppies will remain with us until they have reached the appropriate age and have been examined by our veterinarian. Once our veterinarian has given them a clean bill of health, they will be ready to begin their next adventure with their new families. Our anticipated “Gotcha Day” is October 30th, although this date is tentative and will always depend upon the health, development, and veterinary clearance of each individual puppy.
Because these puppies mean so much to us, we are thoughtful about the homes we choose for them. We do have expectations for our puppy families and want to make sure each puppy is placed in a safe, loving, responsible, and permanent home. We are always happy to discuss those expectations, answer questions, and get to know families who are seriously interested in welcoming one of our puppies.
Our greatest hope is that when one of our puppies leaves our home in Barnum, they are not simply going to a new owner—they are going home to their family.
