I am looking for a very special, loving home for this incredibly tiny girl. She is perfectly healthy and weighs only around 3–4 pounds. Because she is so small and delicate, I would really prefer someone who has experience with toy-sized dogs and understands the extra care needed to keep them safe from accidental injuries.
She has the sweetest, gentlest personality. She is lively and playful, gets her zoomies every day, and loves being around people. At the same time, she is extremely docile and submissive.
She also loves healthy foods and snacks. Some of her favorites are raw carrots, spinach, apples, blueberries, and just about any vegetable, whether fresh or cooked. She can be picky about kibble and generally prefers wet food or softer meals. Since she is so tiny, she doesn’t eat very much.
She enjoys trips to local dog parks, although she usually spends most of her time staying close to my feet rather than running off on her own.
She originally came from Alaska and belonged to my aunt, who has unfortunately been hospitalized for several months. With my aunt’s permission, I have been caring for her and am now trying to find the best possible long-term home for her. I have several dogs of my own, and although they get along, mine simply play too rough for a dog this tiny and delicate.
She is incredibly gentle with other dogs and won’t even fight back if another dog takes a treat from her. Because of her submissive personality, I believe she would do best in a calm, patient household where she can feel secure, build her confidence, and receive plenty of individual attention.
She is potty trained to use an elevated pee-pad holder. Because of her tiny size, she cannot comfortably hold her bladder for much longer than approximately 4 hours when kenneled, so her new family should be prepared for regular potty breaks.
She will also come with her favorite soft dog carrier, which she loves and sleeps in every night.
The $600 rehoming fee is intended to help ensure she goes to a serious, responsible home that is prepared for the commitment of caring for such a tiny dog.
IMPORTANT: She is being rehomed strictly as a companion pet and not for breeding. Her new owner must agree to have her spayed as soon as safely possible and provide proof that the spay has been completed. This is a condition of her adoption/rehoming.
