Expecting a new litter of Standard puppies, should be by the end of May. This litter is a repeat breeding and will be very nice puppies. Standards are great family companion/guardians. They are very smart and do require some training , as any dog does. They have a keen sense of smell and are very alert. They do require some grooming as well. My puppies come to you well socialized, health checked and vaccinated up to date as well as microchipped, and a puppy pack is sent with food and a blanket that smells like home.

About
Standard Schnauzer
Puppies
What's the personality of a Standard Schnauzer?
Standard Schnauzers are little dogs with big personalities. They’re known for their expressive faces with beards and eyebrows that tell you how they feel at every moment. Schnauzers live best indoors with loving, devoted families who enjoy spending time with their non-human companions. Full-grown, they typically weigh 30-50 pounds and stand 17-20 inches tall.
Are Standard Schnauzers a good choice for families with kids?
Standard Schnauzers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Standard Schnauzers are wonderful friends for children. These dogs are happiest indoors (whether in a home or apartment) and behave best when trained as puppies using positive reinforcement. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
How much exercise does a Standard Schnauzer need?
Standard Schnauzers need daily exercise but nothing excessive. They particularly love swimming, fetching, and running. However, this breed gets bored with routine, so be sure to change up their exercise once in a while to make sure they stay entertained. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What kind of coat care does a Standard Schnauzer require?
Standard Schnauzers have a wiry outer coat that ranges from solid black to salt-and-pepper colored. Their outer coat is accompanied by a soft, thick undercoat for warmth. Standard Schnauzers’ most prominent feature is their facial hair. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate. Standard Schnauzers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Standard Schnauzers?
Standard Schnauzers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. These dogs are happiest indoors (whether in a home or apartment) and behave best when trained as puppies using positive reinforcement. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
