How do I attach a video to a message?

Messages ·

When necessary, sellers can attach photos to messages in the Puppies.com Message Center. You can also share videos directly with buyers in your Message Center. This is a great way to provide updates, show a puppy in motion, or convey more information than a photo can provide.

Videos can't be attached to a first message, but they can be added to a follow-up message in a Conversation Thread in your Message Center.

To Attach a Video to a Message:

  • Open the conversation thread with the buyer in your Message Center.
  • Click the Paper Clip icon next to the message input field.
  • Choose from two options:
    • Add Media: This opens your device's file selector, allowing you to select a new video or photo to upload.
    • Asset Library: This opens a library of media you have already uploaded to your listings, allowing you to quickly share existing videos with buyers.
  • Once you select your video, you will see a progress bar indicating the upload status.
  • Once the upload is complete, you can send the message by clicking the Arrow icon next to the message input field.
    • If you decide not to send the video, simply click the X icon on the video thumbnail in the message box to remove it before sending.

A Note on Asset Library: The Asset Library is designed to save you time. Any video or photo you have already uploaded to your listings will automatically appear in your Asset Library, so you never have to re-upload files you’ve already used.
