Testimonials are a great way to share your experience and help other prospective buyers find a trustworthy breeder. To ensure that all feedback represents a genuine interaction, we require that you communicate with the breeder through our site before your purchase in order to post a Testimonial.
To post a testimonial for a seller, you must have 1) communicated with the seller through the Puppies.com Message Center (by sending a message and receiving a response) prior to your purchase/deposit, and 2) made a deposit payment or purchased a puppy from the seller within the last year based on a listing posted on Puppies.com. How to Leave a Testimonial:
- Login to your Puppies.com account and open your Message Center.
- Locate the Conversation Thread with the breeder you purchased from.
- If the breeder marked the dog as Sold to you, click Leave a Testimonial in the thread, fill out required fields, and click Submit Testimonial.
- If the breeder did not mark the dog as Sold to you, click the seller's name at the top of your conversation thread in your Message Center to access their profile, and then click Leave a Testimonial in the seller’s profile.
- If using our iOS app, tap the three-dot icon in the upper right, then tap Leave Testimonial below.
- If you bookmarked or saved the seller's profile prior to your purchase/deposit (as we recommend in our Buyer Tips), you can also use that bookmark to access the seller's profile to leave a Testimonial.
A note on eligibility: Testimonials are reserved for buyers who have engaged in a transaction (deposit or purchase) with a breeder. Because we require a verified connection, you will not find a link to leave a testimonial on a breeder's public profile page unless you have an active, ongoing conversation thread with the seller (and received a response from them) in your Message Center.
