How to make a Seller Profile

Selling a Puppy ·

Your Seller Profile is your professional storefront on Puppies.com. While your personal account information is for internal use, your Seller Profile is public-facing and designed to build trust with potential buyers by showcasing your kennel, your certifications, and your available puppies.

Getting Started

When you create your first listing, you will be prompted to complete your Personal Profile (including your name and general location). Once you have an active monthly or annual membership, you gain access to the full Seller Profile/Kennel Information suite, allowing you to customize your public presence.

How to Access and Edit Your Seller Profile

  • Log in to your Puppies.com account.
  • Click the Menu icon in the upper-right corner and select Edit Profile.
  • Scroll down to the Seller Profile / Kennel Information section to manage your public details.
  • Once your setup is complete, you can view your public page at any time by clicking View Breeder Profile in the top menu.

Seller Profile Fields

  • Kennel/Breeder Name: If you don't have a formal business name, you can use your first and last name here.

  • Website: If you have an external website for your breeding program, enter the URL here. This provides buyers with an additional way to research your business.

  • Phone Number: You may provide a public contact number. You also have the option to check the Hide phone number from profile box if you prefer to communicate exclusively through the Puppies.com Message Center.

  • Custom Homepage Name: This allows you to create a personalized, easy-to-remember link (e.g., puppies.com/breeders/YourName) that you can share on social media or business cards to direct buyers straight to your listings and testimonials.

  • Available Breeds: Specify the breeds you produce so they appear as a searchable tag on your profile.

  • Media of Your Place (Photos & Video): You can upload up to 10 photos/videos of your facility (including a maximum of 4 videos). High-quality images of your dogs’ living spaces, play areas, and whelping setups are the best way to prove you are a responsible breeder.

    • Note: You can upload PNG, JPG, and video files (MP4, MOV, WEBM) up to 100MB.

  • About Your Place: Use this space to describe your breeding philosophy, your exercise routines, and your history with your chosen breeds. Specific details about how your puppies are raised "beat generalities" and help you stand out.

  • Licenses (USDA/State): If you are a licensed breeder, select the appropriate options. This information is a major trust signal for prospective buyers.

To save your changes: Once you have filled out your information and uploaded your media, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the orange Save Profile button.
