Important Updates to Memberships & Billing

We recently simplified our membership model to streamline seller subscriptions and reduce confusion caused by different membership tiers:

  • Non-recurring Seller memberships are no longer offered. Sellers can now choose between Monthly and Annual recurring Seller membership options.
  • ✅Recurring memberships can be canceled at any time without penalty.
  • ✅Just as before, using the site as a buyer is completely free of charge.

We understand you may have questions about these changes, so we have outlined the most common inquiries below to help you navigate your account.

Why were the previous non-recurring membership options removed? We transitioned to a unified, recurring membership model to provide a more consistent experience for our breeders. Under the previous model, different memberships offered different benefits, profile types, and numbers of available listings. Consolidating to a single membership type removes this confusion.

What happens to my existing membership that I already paid for? If you are currently on an active membership, it will remain fully active with all your benefits until your paid period ends. You do not need to take any action right now. Once your current membership term reaches its expiration date, you will simply select the new recurring membership plan at that time to keep your account features active.

Am I locked into a long-term commitment? While our memberships are recurring to ensure your account benefits remain active, you are not locked into a long-term commitment. You retain full control over your billing, and you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future automatic payments.

How can I cancel my membership? You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by visiting the Membership and Billing page:

  • Click Cancel.
  • Click Confirm.

Once you select the option to cancel, your membership benefits will remain active until the end of your current paid period, at which point the account will revert to the free level, and no further charges will be applied.

How does the monthly/annual toggle work? The toggle switch located on your Membership and Billing page is used to select your preferred plan prior to your initial purchase or a new billing cycle. It allows you to specify whether you want to be billed monthly or annually.

Please note that this selection is made at the start of your billing term; the toggle is not used to pivot between billing frequencies mid-membership.

Are there prorated refunds for unused time? Puppies.com does not offer prorated refunds for the remaining time on a membership. When you cancel, you will continue to have full access to all your membership benefits until the conclusion of your current billing cycle.

Can I put my membership time on hold? At this time, we do not offer a "hold" or "pause" feature for memberships. If you need to take a break from your breeding program, you can cancel your recurring membership through the Membership and Billing page. When you are ready to resume, you can simply reactivate your membership by purchasing a new plan.

Does this membership cover all of my listings? Yes. Your Puppies.com membership is tied to your account, not to a specific listing. Whether you have one active listing or several, one membership covers your entire account. You do not need to purchase a separate membership for each individual puppy or listing you post.

Is ID Verification included with the new membership? Yes. Complimentary ID Verification is included as a core benefit of your paid membership. It is a key part of our effort to help you build trust with potential buyers, and it is available to all active members. Each recurring membership offers two verification attempts free of charge.

Is my credit card information secure? Absolutely. We take your security seriously and use industry-standard encryption to process payments. Puppies.com does not store your full payment details on our servers; all transactions are handled by our secure, third-party payment processor.
