You can connect Puppies.com to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. Once it's connected, you can ask the assistant to find puppies for sale, look up a breeder, read buyer reviews, learn about a breed, or answer questions about using Puppies.com. Every answer links back to the matching page on Puppies.com.
The connector is free, it's read-only, and you don't need a Puppies.com account to use it.
How do I set it up?
Claude: Go to Settings > Connectors, choose "Add custom connector," and enter this URL:

ChatGPT: Add a new connector in ChatGPT's settings and enter the same URL.
No sign-in is required. If you're asked to choose an authentication method, pick "None."
What can it do?
- Search puppies for sale. You can filter by breed, location (city, ZIP code, or state), distance, price, age, and sex. You can also limit results to ID-verified sellers or to puppies that are vet-examined, vaccinated, registered, have a health guarantee, or are available for pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Up to 20 results come back per page.
- Get listing details. The full description, photos, age, price, colors, health and registration info, delivery options, and a summary of the seller.
- Look up a breeder. A breeder's public profile: bio, location, breeds, badges, member-since date, rating, and newest listings.
- Read breeder reviews. The buyer reviews on a breeder's profile, newest first.
- Learn about a breed. The Puppies.com breed guide (temperament, grooming, activity level, health, size, trait ratings, and FAQs) plus how many puppies of that breed are listed right now and their price range.
- Search the Help Center. Articles about accounts, memberships, listing a puppy, verification, safety, and payments.

What it can't do
- It never shares contact details. Seller phone numbers and email addresses aren't available through the connector. To ask about a puppy or buy one, open the listing or breeder page on Puppies.com and contact the seller there.
- It only shows public information. Results include only the listings and profiles that are public on Puppies.com at the moment you ask. Sold or removed listings show as no longer available.
- It can't change anything. It can't sign in, send messages, create listings, or make purchases.
- Usage limits apply. Searches return up to 5 pages of results, and requests are rate-limited to keep the service fast for everyone.
Privacy
The connector doesn't need an account and doesn't receive your name or contact details. To keep the service secure and working well, we log each request, including the IP address, user agent, approximate country, the tool used, and the search terms sent. These logs are kept for up to 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
