Managing Apple/iOS payments and subscriptions

Puppies.com users can purchase  memberships through our official iOS app. Please note that iOS memberships work a bit differently than memberships purchased through the site when signed in through a browser: 

  • iOS membership pricing includes a surcharge to cover Apple App Store processing fees. Check out How much does it cost to list a puppy? for more information. If you prefer to subscribe at our standard rates ($20.00/mo or $180.00/yr), you can complete your purchase through a standard web browser on Puppies.com before logging into the app.
  • iOS membership payments are made directly to Apple. As such, our Support Team cannot cancel your recurring membership or refund a payment made to Apple on our end (but instructions for both tasks are included below). 
  • Deleting your Puppies.com account does not automatically cancel a recurring membership purchased through our iOS app. Again, cancellation instructions are included below. 

To Purchase an iOS Subscription:

  • Open our iOS app on your mobile device. 
  • Sign in to your account (if you haven't done so already). 
  • Tap More in the lower-right. 
  • Tap Membership & Billing. 
  • Select a Monthly or Yearly membership by tapping the option you wish to purchase. 
  • Tap Purchase Subscription below. 
  • An App Store prompt will appear, outlining the membership cost. Tap Subscribe below to purchase your membership and set up the recurring subscription. 

You can cancel a recurring iOS subscription at any time to prevent further payments. Make sure to do so at least a day before a scheduled payment to avoid an unwanted charge. 

 To Cancel Your iOS Subscription:

  • Open your Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Tap your Apple ID name at the top of the screen.
  • Select Subscriptions.
  • Find Puppies.com in the list.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription to stop future billing.

Since payments made through the iOS app are processed directly by Apple, Puppies.com cannot issue refunds for these charges. However, you can request a refund directly from Apple:

Requesting a Refund from Apple:

  • Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Tap or click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund."
  • Choose the reason for your request, then select Next.
  • Select the Puppies.com payment(s) you’d like refunded.
  • Tap or click Submit.

Apple will review your request and notify you of the outcome. You can also cancel your subscription at this point if you no longer wish to continue.
