Your verified phone number is never displayed publicly on your profile or listings. Instead, it is used exclusively behind the scenes to secure your account using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) text messages and calls, and to protect the site's overall security.
Since your verified phone number is used to log you in securely and send critical notification alerts, it is highly recommended that you keep this number updated if you update your number. Also, please be advised that per Puppies.com Account Guidelines, each user must use their own phone number within their account. Users are not permitted to use email addresses, phone numbers, or websites which belong to others in their account.
To Update your Verified Phone Number:

Navigate to your Verifications page:

On a Desktop / Laptop Browser, click the Menu icon in the upper-right corner and select Verifications.

On a Mobile Browser, open the Menu, tap Profile & Settings, then select Verifications.

On the Puppies.com iOS or Android App, tap More in the lower-right corner of the navigation bar, then tap Verifications.

Locate the Phone Verification section. You will see your current verified number listed there.

Click or tap the Change link on the right side of that box.

An "Are you sure?" warning modal will appear, reminding you that changing your phone number will temporarily remove your current verified status until the new number is confirmed.

Click or tap theYES, CHANGE NUMBER button.

Enter your new phone number and follow the onscreen prompts to enter the security code sent to your new device to finalize the verification.
⚠️ Important Security Note
Because updating your phone number resets your phone verification status, features that require mandatory verification (like sending new outbound messages to buyers or sellers) may be temporarily paused until your new phone number is successfully verified.
