The Message Center Archive is a convenient way to declutter your inbox. You can archive older messages regarding dogs that are no longer available, making it easier to focus on active inquiries while keeping your workspace organized.
How to Archive a Conversation
Moving a message thread out of your primary inbox depends on the device you are using:

On Desktop, Laptop, and Mobile Browsers: Open the conversation thread you want to move, scroll to the very bottom of the messages, and click or tap Archive.

On the Android App: Open the conversation thread, scroll to the bottom, and tap Archive.

On the Official iOS App: Open the conversation thread, tap the three-dot icon (...) in the upper-right corner of the screen, and select Archive from the menu that appears.
Once archived, the conversation thread will automatically move from your primary folder (Inbox or Conversations) to the Archived tab.
Can I "Unarchive" a Conversation?
In most cases, yes! If you need to bring an old conversation back to life:

Navigate to your Message Center and click or tap the Archived tab at the top.

Locate and open the conversation thread.

Bring it back to your active inbox:

Web Browsers & Android App: Scroll to the bottom of the thread and click/tap Unarchive.

iOS App: Tap the three-dot icon (...) in the upper-right corner and select Unarchive.

This will instantly restore the conversation to your active inbox, allowing you to resume messaging.
Why can't I unarchive a specific message? If the unarchive option is missing or unclickable, it generally means one of two things:
The other user is no longer active on Puppies.com.
The other user has blocked your account.
Can I delete a message thread entirely?
No. To maintain a secure platform and provide a clear paper trail for transaction safety and testimonial eligibility, conversation threads cannot be permanently deleted. Archiving is the best way to safely hide older conversations from view.
