We recognize that sellers often need to send photos of a puppy to a potential buyer, so we've included a handy feature on Puppies.com: the ability to upload photos to send through the Message Center itself!
Only sellers can send photos, and the process is very simple.
To Attach a Photo to a Message:
- Log in to your account and open your Message Center.
- Locate and click or tap the Conversation Thread of the user you want to message.
- Access your device's media gallery by the icon to the left of the message text box:
- On Desktop, Laptop, or Mobile Web Browsers: Click or tap the Paperclip icon.
- On the Official iOS or Android Apps: Tap the Camera icon.
- Choose from two options:
- Add Media: This opens your device's file selector, allowing you to select a new video or photo to upload.
- Asset Library: This opens a library of media you have already uploaded to your listings, allowing you to quickly share existing videos with buyers.
- Select the photos you want to upload. You can attach up to 10 items per message.
- Need to remove a photo before sending? If you accidentally pick the wrong file, don't sweat! Just click or tap the red "X" in the corner of the thumbnail preview inside the message box to remove it.
- Once you select your photo, you will see a progress bar indicating the upload status.
- If you want to include text with your attached photos, click or tap inside the message field to type a note alongside your attached thumbnails.
- Once you are ready, click or tap the Arrow icon to the right of the message box to send your media.

Please keep the following in mind:
- Once sent, photos cannot be deleted.
- As mentioned above, only sellers can send photos through the Message Center.
- If you are a seller, you can attach photos in Conversation Threads regarding your own listings. However, if you have sent messages to other sellers regarding their listings, the photo attachment button will not be available those Conversation Threads.
- Sellers can attach photos to messages in a Conversation Thread related to a specific listing. However, photos cannot be attached to a Conversation Thread initiated by a Direct Message sent directly to the seller's profile.
- The photo attachment button is available in Conversation Threads for active "For Sale", "On Hold" and "Sold" listings. However, the photo attachment button is not available in Conversation Threads for listings which have been deleted.
- Puppies.com accepts PNG and JPG photo files up to 10 MB.
